My native language is Serbian. I translate myself. I hope to regularly or at least semi-regularly update more poems (I have lots, but they need fixing and after that translating) and my other art, and to learn HTML so that I can make a decent, intuitive site, and maybe leave some space for people to interact and give feedback!
When reading poetry, don't rush it. Make it a part of your routine. Read one poem while you're drinking coffee, on a break from cleaning, or before a good night, and leave out a minute or two to sit with it afterwards, to try to feel the emotions offered by the poem. If you read them all at once, it will probably jumble up. It might even seem boring, I tend to write about certain topics over and over. Spacing it out could be more enjoyable. I mean, you can try. You might like to read a lot of poems at once. All I'm saying is, poems are not some mountain top to reach the end and move on, something to be done with once you understand it
. Come to think of it, please don't treat the mountain tops like that, either!
So, this is just my suggestion, you try stuff out and see what works for you, just... Enjoy the feeling. And have a good day! :]
